Finding Your Light

The journey from darkness to light is often gradual. Each step we take, guided by faith and love, leads us closer to the clarification we seek. Miracles can emerge from the depths of our struggles: moments of finding that dime in a parking lot or cleaning up a camping spot and your rug was laying on a dime the whole time, unexpected kindness, or a warm connection with a stranger.

As the dawn breaks after a long night, so too will the light break through our trials. We begin to see the beauty of hope, the lessons learned from hardship, and the strength gained through perseverance. With Jesus by our side, we find the courage to face our fears, to continue walking despite uncertainty, and to trust that the light is on the horizon.

We are all walking on paths, we face different challenges and seek different goals from the paths.  What we do know is not all paths are full of light; keeping our focus on the light will help guide us through the darkness.

Happy Sunday folks - find your light everyday!

Quiet Roads

Riding down dirt roads of the Low Country of South Carolina offers more than just a journey; it’s an opportunity for reflection and connection to something deeper. With each mile, the burdens of everyday life seem to melt away, replaced by a sense of freedom and peace. In the Low Country, time feels fluid, and the dirt roads serve not just as routes to travel, but as arteries of memories, both yours and those who came before you. Whether you’re walking, biking, or riding, each moment here is an invitation to slow down, breathe in the beauty, and lose yourself in the serenity of this mysterious landscape.

What's your favorite dirt road to travel down? or When is the last time you slowed down to travel down the less traveled road with sand, dirt, dust on your tires?

Enjoy the ride - slow down to soak up the journey,
